Commercial real estate loans in Northern Arizona

Northern Arizona is a region, not a Maricopa submarket. Capital Market Funds arranges investor-owned commercial mortgages there from the Scottsdale office. It does not keep a second street address in the high country.

According to the Wikipedia article on Northern Arizona, the name is unofficial and generally covers Apache, Coconino, Mohave, Navajo, and Yavapai counties. The same article places the region on the Colorado Plateau and says the Mogollon Rim is that plateau's southern border in Arizona. It names Flagstaff as the region's largest city and lists Sedona, Page, Prescott, Payson, and Williams among the other cities. Much of the territory is national forest, parkland, or Bureau of Land Management land, Interstate 40 roughly follows historic Route 66, and the Grand Canyon sits in the west of the region. Those sentences are the article's geography. They are not a loan program.

A lender reading income property in that geography asks different practical questions than a lender reading a Phoenix industrial park. The comparable sales are fewer. The bench of capital sources that will actually look at a smaller flagship is often a regional or community bank, a credit union, or an SBA structure through an SBA lender or a certified development company. A life company is the conversation only when the income is already calm. How a credit union differs from a bank is a national note. The Arizona bank page is Arizona bank, the 504 path is Arizona SBA 504, and the insurance-company path is life company. Capital Market Funds arranges those introductions. It is not the depository and it is not the CDC.

Flagstaff and Prescott, and the places this hub does not split off

The two city notes on this hub are Flagstaff and Prescott. Prescott's page also covers Prescott Valley. There is no separate Prescott Valley URL. Sedona is named because Wikipedia names it. There is no Sedona financing page to open from here. Tourism around the Grand Canyon, and the winter ski season at Arizona Snowbowl north of Flagstaff, is discussed on the Flagstaff page rather than repeated as a regional slogan.

Two places people sometimes fold into 'northern' are not this hub. Yuma is the Yuma County seat on Interstate 8, near the California and Mexico borders. Pinal County, including Casa Grande, sits between Phoenix and Tucson. Both are linked so a sponsor does not file a desert or a midway-city asset under a high-country heading. The statewide index is Arizona markets.

Insurance and water are questions, not findings on this page

Sponsors ask whether a mountain property can get the hazard insurance a lender will accept, and whether a new building has water and sewer capacity. This page does not report a wildfire map, a non-renewal, or a capacity shortage, because the geography article does not state those facts. The firm already explains what lenders ask for on insurance in Arizona insurance requirements and what a water file looks like in Arizona water supply and commercial lending. Read those notes. Do not treat this hub as the study.

Owner-user commercial property, such as a clinic or a small industrial building the sponsor occupies, can be discussed alongside investor-owned income property. A house the borrower will live in is not this page. Apartments, when they come up, mean five or more units. Agency debt for those apartments, if a program fits, is arranged with an approved lender. Capital Market Funds is not a Fannie Mae DUS lender. Craig Hoebing takes the request at the Scottsdale office under NMLS 1445066.

Northern Arizona market context

Five counties, one unofficial name
Wikipedia describes Northern Arizona as Apache, Coconino, Mohave, Navajo, and Yavapai counties on the Colorado Plateau, with the Mogollon Rim as the plateau's southern border in the state. Wikipedia, Northern Arizona, accessed for this page in October 2026
Public land is a large share of the map
The same article says much of the region is national forest, parkland, or Bureau of Land Management land. That is a geography fact, not a statement that any one parcel is unbuildable. Wikipedia, Northern Arizona, accessed for this page in October 2026

Sources that show up outside the Valley

Sources that show up outside the Valley
SourceWhen it fits
BankA regional or community bank is often the first conversation for a smaller Northern Arizona income property.
Life CompanyA life company is the later conversation, and only when the high-country income is already stable.
Bridge & PrivatePrivate bridge is for a lease-up or a timing gap. The capital comes from private investors, not from this firm's own paper.

Questions on Northern Arizona commercial loans

Is Northern Arizona a separate county for a commercial mortgage?

No. Wikipedia treats it as an unofficial region covering Apache, Coconino, Mohave, Navajo, and Yavapai counties. The loan file still names the city and the county where the building sits.

Do you have a Sedona office or a Sedona loan page?

No. Sedona is inside the region Wikipedia describes. This site does not publish a Sedona URL. The request is handled from Scottsdale.

Will you finance a home I will live in on the Colorado Plateau?

No. These pages are investor-owned income property and owner-user commercial buildings. A house the borrower occupies is a different product and is not arranged here.

Are you the bank that funds a Flagstaff or Prescott building?

No. Capital Market Funds arranges the financing with a bank, a credit union, an SBA lender or CDC, a life company, or a private lender. It is not those institutions.

No Northern Arizona tombstone is on the list

If a later card names a high-country address, it will be added on that card's own page. This hub does not preview one.
