Two of the credit unions Arizona sponsors name for a commercial building list their main offices in the City of Phoenix. NCUA's directory shows Desert Financial on North 48th Street and Arizona Financial on North 44th Street. Their member-business desks compete with community banks for owner-occupied buildings and smaller investment property. OneAZ also lists a Phoenix main office, farther north. The competition is theirs. We bring one Phoenix package to more than one institution and say which box is actually open.
This is not the page that lumps every portfolio lender together. Banks in the city are Phoenix bank. The statewide credit-union map, including Vantage West in Tucson, is Arizona credit union. Nothing on the transactions list is a Phoenix credit-union loan. The industrial cash-out is life company. The Midwest bank card is not Phoenix.
What a Phoenix credit union still has to clear
Membership, the aggregate member-business-loan cap in 12 CFR 723.8, and the property type are the credit union's tests. We do not waive them. An owner-user near downtown or along a Phoenix arterial is a common fit. A large stabilized apartment community is usually an agency conversation. We are not a Fannie Mae DUS lender, and we will not hide an agency asset inside a credit-union application.
The city hub is Phoenix. The national credit-union explainer, without these institution names, is credit union commercial mortgages.
Names on this page are not a panel we control
Listing Desert Financial or Arizona Financial does not mean either credit union has agreed to a file, and it does not mean we are a member. If the right hold is a bank, we say so. The arranger overview is bank execution.
